Ambala, July 31
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today said the double-engine government is moving continuously ahead on the path shown by the great personalities and forming welfare policies after taking inspiration from their lives.
He was addressing a gathering on the occasion of the 21th foundation day of Ravidas Dharma Asthan at Sirasgarh in Mullana. He was accompanied by Ministers of state Aseem Goel, and Subhash Sudha, and state vice-president Banto Kataria.
Saini said, “Taking inspiration from the life of Guru Ravidas, the double-engine government has worked to implement schemes for the welfare of people of Haryana. The messages of unity, and brotherhood given by the saint are still relevant, and we should follow the path shown by the great saints.”
The CM highlighted the achievements and welfare schemes being run by the state and the Central government. He announced a grant of Rs 21 lakh while Aseem announced a grant of Rs 11 lakh on this occasion. Rohtak Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda, Ambala MP Varun Chaudhry and several other politicians also attended the event.
MP Deepender Hooda and MP Varun Chaudhry announced a grant of Rs 51 lakh to Guru Ravidas Dharm Asthan. Last year too, Deepender Hooda had announced Rs 31.25 lakh for the Asthan. Deepender also read the message of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on the occasion. — TNS

Visits kin of martyr Naik Gurpreet Singh
CM Saini also visited the residence of martyr Naik Gurpreet Singh in Sherpur village and extended his condolences. He assured his kin that the state government stands firmly with the family during this difficult time and will extend all possible assistance to them.
