The Chief Secretary’s office said the decision had been taken following the orders of the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The Council had ruled that it had decided to “recognise equivalence for all purposes, including higher education and employment, to technical courses conducted by various professional institutions duly recognised by the HRDMinistry with permanent recognition up to May 31, 2013”. — TNS
