The finals of the inter-college volleyball competition being organised in the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural Unviersity (HAU) will be held between the teams of the College of Agriculture, and the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities in the men’s category. In the women's category, the College of Agriculture and the College of Community Science secured their spots in the final match.

The semi-final matches were held today, which witnessed intense competition between the teams. ML Khichar, Director of Students’ Welfare, was the chief guest during the semi-finals. He encouraged the players to actively participate in sports alongside their academic pursuits.

In the first semi-final of the women’s category, the College of Agriculture defeated the College of Agricultural Engineering. Avishi and Mansi delivered stellar performances in the match.

The men’s semi-final turned out to be a close contest. The College of Agriculture defeated the College of Fisheries Sciences in a thrilling match with scores of 25-20 and 25-23. Players Raksheet Mahla and Dipanshu Jangra from the College of Agriculture and Rishi Yadav and Sunil from the College of Fisheries Sciences performed well on their respective sides.

In another semi-final match, the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities defeated the College of Agricultural Engineering to reach the finals which was dominated by Sahil.

The matches were officiated by retired District Sports Officer Krishna Beniwal. Key officials present included Baljeet Girdhar and Sushil Legha, deputy directors of Students' Welfare (Sports), along with sports coordinator Pawan Poonia, Sanjeev Sirohi, volleyball in-charge Indu Chaudhary and faculty members Randhir Dhaka and Daljeet Singh.
