Inter-house volleyball tournament concludes at Kunjpura Sainik School

The inter-house volleyball tournament for the academic session 2025–26 recently conducted at Sainik School, Kunjpura. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of cadets from all houses.

Captain (IN) Gurbir Singh, the school’s principal, encouraged cadets to pursue excellence both on and off the field.

He appreciated the energy and sportsmanship displayed by all participants, and emphasised the role of games in the holistic development of cadets.

In the junior category, Chillianwala House emerged the winner, while Thaneshwar House secured the runner-up position.

The title of best player was awarded to Ayushman Yadav of Chillianwala House.

In the senior category, Chillianwala House continued their dominance by clinching the championship title, defeating Thaneshwar House in a thrilling final match.

Vineet Jaglan of Chillianwala House was adjudged the best player.

The event was conducted by event in-charge Satya Pal Poonia.

Officiating vice-principal, Squadron Leader Soniya Sharma, and senior master Sanjay Chauhan were among the attendees of the tournament.
