In a major breakthrough, Fatehabad police have uncovered an interstate motorcycle theft gang and arrested five suspects involved in dismantling and selling stolen two-wheelers. The operation was conducted under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain as part of a special campaign against vehicle thefts. Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Sub-Inspector Ved, along with other officials, set up a checkpoint near Karnauli on Rajrani Road, where they apprehended the accused.

The arrested individuals, most of whom are residents of Sardulgarh in Punjab, used to steal motorcycles and transport them to deserted locations. There, they would dismantle the vehicles using a grinder machine and sell the parts in various markets, making it difficult for authorities to trace the original stolen bikes. During the raid, police recovered nine complete stolen motorcycles, nearly 40 dismantled parts of other bikes, one grinder machine and additional tools used in the thefts.
