Jassa thanked INLD's national president Abhay Singh Chautala and state president Rampal Majra for entrusting him with the important position. He assured them of his commitment of fulfilling his duties with sincerity and working towards the party's goals.

Jassa emphasised that the INLD, led by figures like former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal, former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala and National President Abhay Singh Chautala, had always been focused on public welfare through its policies.

As the new district president, Jassa vowed to ensure that all party members, especially those who were away from the party for any reason, were welcomed back with respect. He also promised to prioritise workers dedicated to the party and focus on improving the lives of the poor, farmers, youth, workers and women.
