The Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) appointed the executive body members of its Kurukshetra district unit on Tuesday.

JJP district president Kuldeep Jakhwala said the state executive committee was formed a week ago, and, after discussion with party leadership, the district executive body was formed in Kurukshetra.

Rajender Sharma was appointed senior-vice-president, and Rajeeta Singh the women’s wing president. The party assigned responsibilities to 28 workers in the district. “The JJP is a party that works for the welfare of every section of society, following the ideology of Chaudhary Devi Lal. The party will celebrate his 112th birth anniversary at the district level across the state. Party leaders and workers will offer flowers at the two statues of Chaudhary Devi Lal installed in Kurukshetra,” he added. He said, on October 8, former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala will address a public meeting

in Kurukshetra.
