Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today said that the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) was fully geared up for the Assembly elections. On September 2, a crucial meeting of the State Advisory Committee of the JJP would be held and candidates for most of the seats would be selected, he added.

Dushyant, while speaking to party workers at the Chautala House, emphasised the importance of alliances in shaping electoral strategies. He expressed confidence that the alliance between the JJP and the Azad Samaj Party (ASP) would lead Haryana towards progress and address the issues of farmers and the working class.

He spoke about the historical efforts made by Chaudhary Devi Lal and Kanshi Ram for the uplift of marginalised communities and to ensure that they get access to education, housing, healthcare and employment.

Dushyant said that this alliance had sparked enthusiasm among the youth of Haryana and a triangular contest was in the offing in the Assembly elections. He added that the JJP would only collaborate with like-minded political parties.
