Justice Vinod S Bhardwaj, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr Rajeev Mani, Law Secretary, Government of India, joined as the Distinguished Guest, while Vinod Kumar, Honorary Chairman, India SME Forum, participated online, adding valuable insights to the discussions.

The programme began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony attended by all dignitaries. Vice Chancellor Professor (Dr) Devinder Singh extended a warm welcome to the guests and presented them with mementoes.

In his address, Professor Singh said, “Mediation is not merely a technical process, but a powerful mechanism that makes justice more humane, swift, and effective. In collaboration with the High Court, a 40-hour mediation training programme and a dedicated mediation centre will be established within the next six months to prepare students for emerging judicial needs.”
