Kail, Damla roads inspected, officials to carry out repair works in Yamunanagar

Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta along with officers of different departments inspected Kail and Damla roads.

During the inspection, he directed officers of the National Highways Authority of India to repair the roadside berms and dividers near Kail. He inspected the road patchwork being carried out by the Public Works Department in Damla and directed the officers of the departments concerned that all roads in the district should be made pothole-free to facilitate public travel.

“Due to heavy rainfall in the district, potholes have developed on the roads, causing difficulties for people in commuting,” said Gupta.

He directed the officials of the Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads), National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Urban Local Bodies Department, Development and Panchayat Department, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board and Zila Parishad to make all roads in urban and rural areas pothole-free as soon as possible to facilitate the movement of common people.

Jagadhri SDM Vishwanath, Executive Engineer of PWD Puneet Mittal, MS Sangwan from NHAI and other officials were present on the occasion.
