Such events provided youngsters with a platform to showcase their creativity, cultural diversity, and leadership skills, preparing them for national and global competition, he added, urging students to see education not merely as a means to obtain a degree but as an effective tool for self-development, social responsibility, and nation-building. Kurukshetra University Controller of Examinations Ankeshwar Prakash said stepping on the stage itself was a symbol of confidence and effort.

Showcasing a performance signified that the artiste had already achieved a significant victory, he added, saying the primary condition for success was self-belief. He congratulated the winning college teams. Navreet Singh Virk, Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, described the youth festival as a marvellous blend of “art, culture, and enthusiasm” and said those who shone on stage today would illuminate the country tomorrow.

College Principal Kushal Pal said cultural and educational events were not merely for entertainment or competition but to inspire students to actively participate in nation-building. The presence of esteemed and inspiring personalities from various fields provided guidance and motivation to students, helping them shape their future, he added, expressing hope that such events would continue to promote the combined flow of education and culture, enabling students to acquire not only knowledge but also values, empathy, and social responsibility. The participants presented performances — including Haryanvi orchestra, group dance, western vocal solo, western instrumental solo, western group song, and eloquence in Hindi and English — on various stages on the college premises.
