Kaithal logs 91% pass percentage, Karnal 88.55% in Haryana board Class XII exams

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has declared the results for the Class XII examinations, with Karnal and Kaithal districts showing commendable performance. Karnal recorded a pass percentage of 88.55 per cent, while Kaithal witnessed a pass percentage of 91 percent. In Karnal, as many as 8,388 out of 9,473 students who appeared for the exams cleared the exams. Additionally, 890 students received compartment, while 195 have failed.

In Kaithal, the overall pass percentage witnessed an improvement over last year’s 88.78 per cent. A total of 9,426 students appeared from the district, out of which 8,578 passed the exam. As many as 176 students were declared failed, while 681 were placed in the compartment category. The exams were conducted between February 27 and April 2.

Karnal District Education Officer (DEO) Sudesh Thukral and Kaithal DEO Ramdiya Gaghat appreciated the students for their performance.

Kayna Doda of Anand Public School in Karnal’s Nigdhu received 488 marks out of 500 in non-medical, while Divyansh Doda of the same school received 485 marks in the same stream, and Akshita got 476 marks in the commerce stream. Jain Girls Senior Secondary School’s Untti secured 95 percent marks, while Gayatari received 91 per cent and Meenu and Gunjan received 89

per cent.

Karnal’s SD Senior Secondary School Parnav got 91 per cent, Pankaj got 90 per cent and Jatin secured 88 per cent. Similarly, JP Senior Secondary School’s Hemant got 438 marks, Inderjeet got 432 and Tammana got 422.
