Haryana Kala Parishad vice-president Sanjay Bhasin said, “The state government had prepared a plan to make Kurukshetra as the cultural centre of the state. “Under the plan, a proposal has been prepared to establish a branch of the Sangeet Natak Academy at Kurukshetra. As soon as the proposal gets the approval from the CM, the plan will be executed,” he said.

The parishad will appoint coordinators to train new artistes in the field of drama, music, and fine arts. — TNS
