Dr Krishan Kant, a former principal of Aggarwal PG College, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, has been appointed Registrar of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, with immediate effect.
Haryana Governor-cum-MDU Chancellor Bandaru Dattatreya has made the said appointment following the recommendation of the Government of Haryana. The notification issued by the Governor-Chancellor maintains that the terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined by the Competent Authority.

Kant holds a doctorate degree in physics, has 341 research publications to his credit, has co-authored/edited 19 books and seven conference proceedings. As per official sources, Kant is likely to join tomorrow.
