Digital horticulture research includes smart as well as precision farming as important components. This collaboration is expected to yield significant advancements in greenhouse farming technology, helping farmers to combat climate-related challenges and ensuring sustainable agricultural production. Additionally, the decreasing size of landholdings makes it difficult for small and medium-scale farmers to maximise production and income.
