Arsh Gandhi, a 17-year-old resident of Sector-14, Karnal, has made the city proud by securing All India Rank 11 in the NEET UG-2025 exam. Scoring an outstanding 99.9995 percentile, Arsh attributed his success to a disciplined routine, mock test practice and staying away from social media.

The result was declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday, triggering celebrations in the Gandhi household. Arsh’s parents, Dr Meenu Gandhi and Dr Arun Gandhi, who run a private hospital in Karnal, were elated with their son’s achievement.

“I was regular with my studies and always tried to solve any academic confusion on time,” said Arsh, reflecting on his preparation journey. He relied heavily on solving previous years’ test series and consistent interaction with his teachers.

“Understanding the exam pattern through mock tests helped improve my timing,” he added.

Arsh managed his NEET preparation alongside Class 12 board exams, scoring 95.6%, without taking separate coaching for board subjects. He would instead clarify syllabus-related doubts with his NEET mentors.

Though he had the opportunity to prepare from bigger coaching hubs like Delhi or Kota, Arsh chose to stay in Karnal. He prepared at a local private institute, Genesis Classes, where he was felicitated on Saturday.

Arsh also appeared for JEE Mains 2025, securing an impressive 99.74 percentile in his second attempt.

He said his goal to become a doctor was set early.

“I decided in Class 9 that I wanted to become a doctor. With focused effort, proper time management and support from my family and teachers, I was able to reach this goal,” Arsh said.

“I advise all students to stay committed and give their best,” he added.

Appealing to fellow youth, Arsh said: “True efforts truly pay off. Stay focused on your target and work hard to achieve it.”

His father, Dr Arun Gandhi, said, “It’s the result of Arsh’s hard work, his teachers’ guidance and the blessings of everyone.” His mother, Dr Meenu Gandhi, echoed the sentiment, crediting her son’s success entirely to his consistent efforts.

Jitender Ahlawat, Director of Genesis Classes, congratulated Arsh and his family on the remarkable feat.
