The CM was addressing a gathering at an event organised by the All Haryana Sarva Jati Poonia Samaj to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dada Badhdev Poonia at Kharak Punia village. According to the Poonia khap, Dada Badhdev Poonia had established the Baadmer and Jhansal Republic in Rajasthan.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the construction of a community centre and the setting up of a village library. He said the state government would “give due consideration and take forward any development resolution submitted by the Panchayat in the name of Dada Badhdev Ji.”

Paying tribute, Saini said Dada Badhdev Ji’s life showed that “when society is organised and disciplined, every challenge becomes easier to overcome.” He said Dada Badhdev Ji inspired people to adopt truth, discipline and brotherhood as core principles of life.

He added that Dada Badhdev Ji believed “a khap, which stands for the welfare of society, never weakens,” noting that the Poonia Khap had always placed the nation, society and public interest above all else.

Calling upon the khap to guide the younger generation, the CM urged it to help ensure that youth stay away from drugs and become empowered through education, sports, and technology. He appealed to all to make “sustained efforts to advance youth in these fields.”
