Khattar reviews development works in two Karnal villages

He inspected projects and sought updates from officials, directing them to ensure quality execution and time-bound completion of works. He emphasised that development activities must be expedited so that villagers can benefit at the earliest.
Khattar also instructed village panchayat representatives and sarpanches to ensure smooth functioning, proper supervision and transparency in all development-related tasks.
The minister interacted with villagers, listened to their concerns and assured them that all development works in their area would be completed on priority. Earlier, villagers welcomed the minister in both the villages. At Ambedkar Bhawan in Munak, Khattar chaired a meeting with the Panchayat Committee to discuss ongoing projects and to know the challenges being faced by the committee. When he inquired about the village library, the sarpanch requested computers for its functioning.
The minister reviewed matters related to drainage of wastewater and beautification of the village pond. He approved the Irrigation Department’s proposal to convert approximately 3 km of the existing earthen drain into a concrete drain. He also inspected the stadium located in the village.
Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh briefed the Union Minister about the development works being carried out in both the villages.
Khattar has adopted nine villages in Karnal district as part of his dream project, aimed at carrying out comprehensive development based on local needs and priorities.
