Union Minister and former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today visited family of IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, who died by suicide — after alleging caste-based discrimination by certain senior serving and retired officers — on October 7.

According to information, Khattar met Amneet P Kumar, widow of IPS officer, who is a senior IAS officer with Haryana Government, and his two daughters at their Chandigarh residence.
