Ramit Khattar, nephew of former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar, joined the Congress today.

He was welcomed to the party by Congress MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra here. Terming the BJP’s manifesto a ‘bundle of lies’, Batra said the BJP, which had failed to provide even clean drinking water to the residents, had lost faith of the people.

Meanwhile, former INLD MLA Prithi Singh Numberdar joined the BJP in the presence of Union minister Manohar Lal Khattar here.
