Kurukshetra resident Rishabh Mittal (28) has successfully cracked the UPSC civil services examination in his fifth attempt, securing an All-India rank of 363.

Currently posted as an Auditor in the Defence Accounts Department at Ambala Cantonment, Mittal’s journey is a testament to firmness and steady dedication.

A Delhi Technological University (DTU) BTech graduate, Mittal began his civil services preparation at the end of 2019. He accredited his success to constant support and motivation by his family, close friends and office colleagues.

“Continuous efforts pay in achieving goals. Youngsters must focus on their target and work accordingly,” Rishabh said, underlining the importance of discipline and determination.

Mittal added that he stayed away from social media platforms like Facebook during his preparation. However, he used WhatsApp for official purposes.
