Kurukshetra University (KU) has inked a memorandum of understanding with Rekhi Foundation to establish a ‘Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness’ at the university, aimed at fostering happiness and holistic wellbeing among students.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva said the collaboration aims at creating a hub for research, education, and practices centred around happiness, mental health, mindfulness and holistic development.

It focuses on equipping students, faculty, and the wider community with the tools and knowledge needed to lead a happier, more fulfilling life. Its success would pave the way for its replication at various educational institutions in the state, he said.
