The Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, alongside Registrar Dr Virender Pal, officially unveiled the placement brochure for the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Technology today.

During the event, Prof Sachdeva highlighted the university’s commitment to facilitating student placements in leading national and multinational companies. He emphasised that the placement brochure is a vital tool in supporting this mission.

Prof Sachdeva extended his congratulations to the institute’s Director, Prof Maha Singh Poonia, and the placement coordinators for their dedicated efforts in this initiative.

In her address, Prof Poonia noted that the institute offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BA, MA and MSc in Mass Communication; BSc in Printing and Packaging; and Graphics and Animation. It was also mentioned that all these programmes are aligned with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and are designed to enhance students’ employability and entrepreneurial skills.
