Kurukshetra administration launches QR code–based interactive feedback for exhibition

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the District Administration has introduced an innovative QR code–based digital feedback mechanism at the exhibition, being organised on the new criminal laws in Kurukshetra.

The exhibition on the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) — was inaugurated on October 3 by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

As per the information, following the directions of Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Sumita Misra, the QR code-based feedback system has been launched. The QR code, prominently displayed across the venue, offers three integrated features, including the Visitor Feedback Portal, AI-Powered Chatbot, and Information on exhibition stalls.

While explaining the features, Pehowa SDM Abhinav Siwach said through the Visitor Feedback Portal, the visitors can conveniently provide their feedback about the exhibition by entering their name, rating, and comments digitally through a user-friendly bilingual interface. In the AI-Powered Chatbot, the system hosts an interactive AI chatbot that allows visitors to ask questions and instantly receive information related to the new criminal laws. Queries such as “How are cybercrimes treated under the new laws?” or “What are the changes in bail provisions?” are answered in real-time, making learning engaging and accessible.

Similarly, in the information on exhibition stalls, the portal provides details of all 10 thematic stalls showcasing different aspects of the new criminal justice system — including the Police Control Room, Forensic Science Advancements, e-Sakshya (Digital Evidence Management), Zero FIR Implementation, and Achievements of Haryana Police under the new legal framework, the SDM said.

Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena said the digital system represents a fusion of technology, governance and citizen participation, marking a new milestone in public engagement during government exhibitions. The interactive digital feedback system is introduced on the directions of the ACS (Home), emphasising the need for citizen-centric, transparent and tech-driven feedback systems in public exhibitions. The district administration has urged the citizens to visit this exhibition and provide their feedback.
