The Haryana government has appointed Rajesh Jogpal, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, as new Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner.

Jogpal will replace Sonu Bhatt, ADC, Kurukshetra, who was given additional charge in place of Sushil Sarwan.

Sarwan was shifted on Friday on the directions of the Election Commission in view of his mother Santosh Sarwan being the BJP candidate from Mullana, a neighbouring assembly segment of Kurukshetra.
