The Vice Chancellor, Prof Somnath Sachdeva, said KU was the first university in the state to adopt this system. “We have prepared a road map to implement the education policy in our UG and PG programmes from 2022. The Executive Council of the university has already approved the institutional development plan and submitted to the government. A number of meetings have been held with the higher authorities and the university is taking a lead role in the state in preparing the concept, development plan and implementation schedule of the new policy,” said Professor Sachdeva.

Dean, Academic Affairs (KU), Prof Manjula Choudhary said a committee constituted as per the instructions of the Vice-Chancellor had an online meeting on June 16. A provision of 15 per cent seats had been made for students of University Senior Secondary Model School located on the university campus. — TNS
