Kurukshetra University (KU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Som Nath Sachdeva has said that the state-level ‘Constitution Day’ programme will be celebrated on November 26 at the university.

A KU spokesman said, “In a meeting held on Saturday, under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Haryana Government, it was decided that the state-level Constitution Day event will be organised at Kurukshetra University. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be the chief guest on this occasion.”

The KU Vice-Chancellor said that various committees have been formed to ensure the successful organisation of the Constitution Day programme.

KU Students’ Welfare Dean Prof AR Chaudhri will be the overall in-charge of the programme. The university’s Fine Arts Department will organise an exhibition in the Crush Hall.

KU Registrar Prof Sanjeev Sharma, Student Welfare Dean Prof AR Chaudhri and several other senior professors attended the meeting.
