The suspect has been identified as Mushtaq, alias Mangal of Pachgaon village. The stones were being transported to him. The police said they were questioning him and he would be taken on remand after being produced before a court tomorrow.

According to the police, Mushtaq was nabbed by the crime unit team of Nuh led by Inspector Naresh Kumar of Raipuri village. Mangal was doing some construction in his Pachgaon village and key accused Sabbir, alias Mittar, and truck cleaner Ikkar, alias Ikram, were to deliver stones to him.

“The truck driver along with his accomplices managed to get stones through illegal mining for Mushtaq, who was building his house in the village. The stones were being transported when the DSP stopped them and they crushed him to death by their dumper,” said Varun Singla, SP, Nuh.
