Yamunanagar, January 31

Rajan, whose half-burnt body was found near Gulabgarh village of Yamunanagar district on Monday, died after being shot twice.

This fact came to light after the post-mortem examination at Mukand Lal District Civil Hospital here on Tuesday. Notably, Rajan (27), who belonged to Mehra village of Kurukshetra district, was allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Sources said the doctors, who carried out postmortem, found that two rounds of bullet were fired at Rajan

On the complaint of Rajan’s father Mohinder Singh of Mehra village, a case was registered against unknown persons under Sections 302 and 201 of the IPC at the Sadar police station on Monday. A social media post claiming Rajan’s association with Lawrence Bishnoi gang had gone viral after the incident.
