Lawyers, who were protesting since September 2, have decided to resume work and postpone their stir till October 25. A decision to this effect was taken at a general house meeting of the District Bar Association held on Thursday, following intervention of the Rohtak District and Session Judge, Bhiwani Superintendent of Police and Chairman of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.

The authorities concerned assured the District Bar Association that the matter pertaining to the registration of an FIR against a Rohtak lawyer would be resolved soon.

As per a statement issued by the association, regular court work was resumed on Thursday.
