The campus of JC Bose University would soon operate completely on solar energy as the institute has signed an agreement with a solar company for the installation of grid-connected rooftop solar power plant. As a result, the university will completely work on solar energy from April 2021. The agreement was signed with M/s Jyotikiran Energy Mumbai Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle of M/s Sunsource Energy Private Limited, Noida, by Registrar Sunil Kumar Garg. According to the agreement, grid connected rooftop SPV power plants of 266 KW capacity would be installed

at the university by the company, in collaboration with the Department of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HREDA).
