The police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation. Later, the cops informed local officials of the Forest and Wildlife Department. A team of wildlife officials from Gurugram reached there and started a rescue operation.

Deepak Patil, Divisional Forest Officer, said Kanuka village is located near Aravali Hills, hence the leopard might have come from there. “The rescue operation is under way,” he added.
