Link DBT schemes with family I- card, directs Haryana Chief Secretary
Chandigarh, January 19
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal has directed officers to link the Direct Benefit Transfer(DBT) schemes with the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) through Saral Portal at the earliest.
The Chief Secretary gave these directions while presiding over the review meeting held here today regarding digitisation of DBT schemes. Under the Aadhaar Act, the DBT schemes have to be notified and linked to the ‘State DBT Portal’, therefore all departments should link their schemes to the PPP through the Saral Portal as soon as possible, directed the Chief Secretary. He directed the officers to upload the information of the DBT beneficiaries on the said portal so that the correct data is updated.
