Aditya Yadav of Begpur village under Mandi Ateli area of the district has secured the All India Rank 1 in the Combined Defence Services (CDS) exam, results of which were declared by the UPSC on Wednesday evening.

Aditya's father, Satish Kumar, is a retired Army officer, and mother Sunita is a teacher at a private school. His grandfather also served in the Army.

“Earlier, Aditya had secured the 20th All India Rank in the UPSC Assistant Commandant exam, showcasing his commitment and determination in pursuing his dreams. After completing his school education in Narnaul, Aditya went to Delhi University for a bachelor's degree,” said his friend.

Aditya credited his success to his teachers, parents, and discipline, stating that with dedication and hard work, any goal could be achieved. “It was my childhood dream to join the Army and serve the country,” he added.

Meanwhile, CM Nayab Singh Saini congratulated Aditya on his social media account, "Our talented youth of Haryana are ahead in every field. Aditya Yadav has brought pride to the region and the state by topping the UPSC CDS 2024 exam. Best wishes for his bright future."
