A short circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the fire. However, the actual reason would become clear after a thorough investigation. Fireman Amit Kumar said 18 fire tenders were pressed into service. It took around nine hours to control the flames, but firefighters were on the job to douse the flames till this report was filed.
