Faridabad, July 23

The police today arrested a man in connection with throwing acid on his wife.

The accused has been identified as Abdul Kadir (40), a resident of Harkesh Nagar locality. A case was registered on the complaint of the victim’s brother. Kadir allegedly threw acid on his wife’s on Thursday after a domestic dispute. The victim suffered 35 per cent burn injuries and has been referred to Safdurjung Hospital in New Delhi. — TNS
