Mahesh, 53, a resident of Nainsukhpura village in Rewari district, was allegedly beaten to death in the village.

In a complaint lodged with the police, Mahesh’s cousin Dinesh stated that a group of villagers armed with sticks attacked Mahesh and his family members at their home last night. Mahesh was killed during the assault, while his mother, brother and brother’s wife sustained injuries.

The police have registered a case. DSP (Kosli) Vidyanand said the police are pursuing the suspects.
