A man and his daughter were seriously injured on Wednesday night after their car hit a divider and overturned in front of the Police Commissioner office here.

According to the police, a speeding car was coming from Rajiv Chowk towards Sohna chowk at around 11.45 pm. Upon reaching near the Police Commissioner office, the driver lost control of the car, leading to the vehicle hitting a divider and overturning.

Police officials deployed outside the office rushed the injured persons to a private hospital nearby. Inspector Poonam Hooda, SHO of the Civil Lines police station, said both the father and the daughter are undergoing treatment. However, no complaint has been received yet.
