In a complaint lodged with the police, Manjit of Bhalauth village in Rohtak district has alleged that he had seen the body lying in the house of a drug-peddler in the Rainakpura locality. “I had gone there to search for my friend when I saw the body. Dogs were eating the feet of the deceased. I called the police. Meanwhile, the house-owner, Rakesh, and his family members made me leave their house. I later saw them disposing of the body in a garbage dump,” said Manjit.

The police have registered a case against Riko, her husband Rakesh and her father.
