According to the police, on the night of July 26, 2022, one Harvinder was injured after being shot in Basai Enclave. He was then rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Based on the complaint lodged by the deceased’s nephew, a murder FIR was registered against the brother-in-law of the deceased at the Sector 10A police station.

The police had arrested the accused, identified as Naveen, a resident of Deeghal village in Jhajjar district, and sent him to judicial custody.

“On the basis of the evidence and witnesses produced by the police against the accused, the court of ADJ Sunil Kumar Diwan, while giving the verdict on Wednesday, declared him guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment and a fine,” added the spokesperson.
