Man gets life term for murdering brother over land

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 35,000 on the convict.
The deceased was identified as Aman (26) of Rabhra village in the Gohana area of the district. The incident was reported to the Gohana Sadar police on September 22, 2022. Azaad Singh, father of the deceased, in his complaint to the police said his elder son Jitender was blind and he was living with his younger son Aman, while his middle son Krishan was involved in criminal activities.
He owned nearly three acres of agricultural land and he ploughed the land with Aman. After coming from the jail, Krishan began demanding land of his share but he and Aman refused to give him the land. After which he had threatened to kill Aman several times.
He further said, on September 22, his son Aman was sitting with a villager at his home when Krishan came along with another person and shot three fires at Aman. Due to bullet injuries he fell down and succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.
Following the statement, the Sadar Gohana police registered a case and arrested Krishan. The court of ASJ Sartaj Baswana on Friday awarded life imprisonment to Krishan for murdering Aman.
