The incident took place on January 3 in 2020.
Advocate Ravindra Gupta of the Legal Cell said in the complaint lodged by a 20-year-old woman at the police station, she had said that on January 3, 2020, Kishore Kumar came to her house at around seven in the evening. He told her that he would drop the child at her grandmother's shop. Both knew each other so the mother of the girl did not refuse to send her daughter with him.
It was when the girl did not reach her grandmother’s shop even after two hours, the woman and her mother-in-law reached Kishore Kumar's house in search of their daughter. Neither the daughter nor the accused were found there. The accused Kishor took the girl to a secluded place and raped her. When people raised a noise, he ran away leaving the girl with her grandfather at his street vend. Seeing blood coming out from the girl's private parts, the family got her admitted to a hospital. An FIR was registered and the accused was arrested.
“The court sentenced the man to life imprisonment and fine on the basis of 22 witnesses and 30 evidences,” said advocate Gupta.
