A team of CIA-1 unit of the Kaithal police arrested a man allegedly attacking government employees during a stubble-burning inspection at Geong village. The accused has been identified as Sohan Lal of the same village. Two accused have already been arrested earlier in this case.

Police spokesperson said a team led by SI Jaswant Singh and assisted by ASI Rohtas arrested the accused on the complaint of Block Technical Manager, Agriculture Department, Kaithal, Rajbir, who alleged that on October 1, he along with Yashpal Patwari, Naveen, supervisor, and Rahul, trainee patwari went to Geong village to conduct an inspection regarding prevention of stubble burning.

The assailants allegedly forced one of the officials to write on a paper that they had come to the field to steal cables.
