A team of the Anti-vehicle theft cell of the Yamunanagar police has arrested a man and recovered two stolen motorcycles from his possession. The accused has been identified as Vishal, alias Rizwan, of Prithvipur in Yamunanagar.

Chamkaur Singh, a police spokesman, said SP Kamaldeep Goyal had given instructions to the district police to crack down on crime and criminals. He said acting under these instructions, the team had recovered two stolen motorcycles from a person.

Rajesh Kumar, incharge of anti-vehicle theft cell, said they got information that a man would go towards Badhi Majra village with a stolen motorcycle, following which they arrested the accused. He said the accused was on Wednesday produced before a Jagadhri court, which sent him to judicial custody.
