Ragini, wife of the deceased, in her complaint to the Israna police on Monday, said that they were living in a rented accommodation at Dahar. They were working as labourers in a factory here.

She stated that after the work hours, around 9.30 pm on Sunday night, she and her husband Sumit were crossing the road to eat something, near the white gate of Dahar village, when a speeding white car hit her husband. Her husband fell on the road and sustained serious injuries. The car driver managed to run away from the spot.

On getting the information, a DIAL-112 team reached the spot and admitted her husband to a private college in Israna, where a doctor declared him dead.
