The police on Wednesday nabbed an imposter posing as an inspector at a naka set up in Sector 14 here.

Dressed as a cop, the accused, Prince Madan of Palwal, was roaming in his car.

Originally a dry fruit businessman, Prince was also carrying a fake ID card. He told the police he wanted to evade toll and yield power following which he hatched the plan.

An FIR has been registered against under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 170 of the IPC. — OC
