Sonepat: A man was shot on the Mehlana road in Sonepat city on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Anil of Hat village in Jind. He was living at the home of his friend Sandeep in the city. Anil had gone to school to drop Sandeep’s kids on a motorcycle. When he was on the way back to home, three men came on a motorcycle and fired upon Anil. A case has been registered against two persons, identified as Sunil, Sunny and one more person, under Sections 302 and 34 of the IPC and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act. TNS

14-year-old found dead

Gurugram: A 14-year-old boy, who was missing from four days, was found dead in Faridabad. His body was found in the Aravalli forest area on Thursday. One of suspects, an auto driver, has been taken in custody. The main accused has not been identified yet. The deceased has been identified as Shyam (14), a resident of Faridabad. The father of the boy said his son went had gone out with one of his friends, but did not return. OC

2 Nigerians ‘attack’ cops; held

Gurugram: Two Nigerians have been nabbed for allegedly misbehaving and thrashing cops for seeking their passport. An FIR has been registered at DLF phase-3 police station. They were produced in a city court and sent into judicial custody. The police said during patrolling on Wednesday, two Nigerians met near a school and looked suspicious. When the cops asked them to show their passport, they started misbehaving. oc
