A 35-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his brother over property dispute at Angodh village under the Nissing police station in the district.

The deceased was identified as Sonu of the same village, while the accused is his brother Mahinder.

The family members said the incident took place late on Monday evening when Sonu and Mahinder had an argument over their ancestral land. They alleged that Mahinder attacked his brother and stabbed him to death.

Mahinder managed to flee from the spot after the incident. Rishipal, investigation officer, said on the complaint of Sonu’s wife, they had registered a case against Mahinder, his wife and son under Section 302 of the IPC.
