Man, two sons held for murder

The Faridabad police have arrested a man along with his two sons for the murder of his third son in the city’s Ballabgarh area. The accused, after the murder, tried to make it look like a case of suicide by hanging the body.

The police got to know that it was a case of murder. Thus, an FIR over the same was registered at the Adarsh Nagar Police Station.

The accused were identified as Dhaniram (65), Sudama (28) and Suraj (19), residents of Subhash Colony, Ballabgarh. They were produced in a city court today and the police have taken them on a three-day remand.

According to the police, the deceased, identified as Krishna (28), was a labourer and an alcoholic. His father, Dhaniram, works as a confectioner while his two brothers Sudama and Suraj also work as labourers. Krishna had been drinking alcohol on September 15 when his father along with his two sons hit him to death.

A crime unit arrested the three accused today. “They have confessed to the crime,” a police spokesperson said.
