The problem of traffic jams at the Bilaspur chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur highway will be resolved within the next 48 hours, according to sources as Manesar SDM Darshan Yadav took stock of the traffic management at the Bilaspur chowk on Friday.

Yadav had a detailed discussion about the same with Manesar DCP Deepak Kumar and ACP Traffic Sukhbir Singh and gave necessary guidelines to officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). He, along with DCP Manesar, discussed the changes in traffic system with the villagers and also sought necessary suggestions from them.

Villagers said two lanes of the road were blocked at the Bilaspur chowk due to construction of a flyover at the chowk. Waterlogged and potholed roads had also hampered the smooth flow of traffic at the chowk.

The SDM directed NHAI officials to open all lanes for traffic except the flyover construction site at the chowk.
